My son is at nursery school and my daughter is taking her afternoon nap. It is so peaceful- the only sound I hear is sleepful (my spell check says sleepful is not a real word but I beg to differ) breathing through the baby monitor.
Outside it is all slushy and gross and what I really feel like doing right now is curling up on the couch with a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate and watching tv.... ahhhh, how nice.
Of course, I won't be doing any cuddling with a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate though. I have a date with my downstairs bathroom and a bunch of cleaning supplies. I also have to make some homemade rolls to go with the whole chicken we are having for dinner (if it defrosts in time). And, as I am looking around, I see that it looks like my kids' playrooms pooped toy diarrhea all over my house so I guess I better clean some of that up too. amongst
I'll relax later, once everyone has gone to bed. But, has anyone ever noticed that relaxing at night doesn't feel as good as relaxing in the middle of the day?
I hear ya there....there's never enough time for res!
ReplyDeleteI love the phrase "toy diarrhea". I've never heard a more apt description for my house!
