Yeah, I spent a lot. I went to the store with a small list that I threw together last minute and while walking around I started to remember other things we needed- string cheese and yogurt are a must in my house. The town trash bags are very expensive and I get super annoyed whenever I have to buy them. We also are very low on ground beef and I really wanted to get pork chops because we haven;t have them in a very long time.

So, all in all I am about $9 over my $60 grocery budget for the week (the trash bags and Cottonelle come out of my household items budget). I have been thinking about raising my budget because I am trying to buy healthier options of food for my kids but I haven't gone through with it yet.

And yes, the sausage and hash browns are for me. I love that kind of stuff because I used to eat it all of the time growing up. It will be eaten when the kids are not in sight because I do not want them to get a taste for crappy (yet oh so yummy) food. Bad habits die hard.
