Not too impressive but I got what we needed and I didn't venture to far over my budget of $65.

I had my husband pick a new recipe to try this week and he chose one out of a recent issue of Rachel Ray Magazine. It is a pasta dish with homemade meatballs and sauce (and whole wheat pasta- yeah!) and for the recipe I had to buy garlic, whole canned tomatoes, onions and Parmesan cheese.

The Carolina Rice is going to get donated- I love brown rice and no longer like the taste of white rice. I only paid .19 for each one pound bag and figured that the food bank could use it. I would love to buy stuff each week to be donated- with coupons and sales, of course.
