No More Money Down the Drain...


Pasta is a pretty cheap meal. You can get a box of pasta for $1 or less on sale and a jar of sauce for $1 to $2 on sale. When we make pasta in my house we end up using about half a box of pasta and half a jar of sauce. 

What do I do with the half jar that wasn't used? If I think that I'll be using it in the next few days I just put it in the fridge but a lot of the time I forget about it and end up having to throw it out. Now I just freeze the other half of the sauce. When I need it I pop it in a pan and defrost it on low on the stove.

Now I just have to not forget about the sauce in the freezer...
