Miscellaneous Stuff I Want To Get Done...

kid to do list, list, Be happy and go home

Today my mom is taking the kids for the day. Instead of running around doing errands I am going to go to the Wrentham Outlets and buy myself some new clothes.

I have tons of clothes but nothing seems to be fitting me right. I still have a mild baby pooch and my boobs are bigger than normal because I'm breastfeeding plus my nursing bras make it impossible for me to wear any shirts that are even slightly low cut. I will miss breastfeeding when I wean my daughter but something that I won't miss is trying to find a shirt that looks decent on me. I was just not meant to have big boobs.

I printed out a coupon for 15% off at the Gap outlet and one for 15% off at the Banana Republic outlet (my favorite store); couple those coupons with the supposed big sale they are having and I should be able to find some cute stuff that won't make me feel subconscious when I wear it. I also have to try and find my husband a sport jacket to wear on a business trip he's going on in a couple of weeks (I will be left alone from a Monday morning to a Thursday night with the kids- that should be fun).

After that I may pop into Target to grab some bread, sunscreen, orange juice and strawberries- that is if Jilly Billy is in the cooperating kind of mood. Then I really want to make some bean and rice burritos and oatmeal cookie dough to freeze and some homemade pear baby food with the huge bag of pears that I bought at BJ's last week.

I will most likely get none of this done but it's good to have goals- besides, a day in my life would not be complete without me feeling incompetent in some way, shape or form.

  1. I hope you find some cute stuff. As I was reading your post I was thinking, Dang that's a long to-do list for one day! LOL. Don't get bummed if you don't get it all done. Relax a little :)

  2. Yeah, I pretty much just went to the outlets and made the baby food. I underestimated how long it would take me to go clothes shopping with the baby strapped to my chest. I really need to start making simpler to do lists : )
