CafeWell- Motivating Healthy Lifestyles

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of CafeWell for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Improving one's health is something that many of of strive to do but sometimes it can be so overwhelming to implement. You want to do all of the right things but doing them all at once can be detrimental to your success.

This is why for many of us, getting well and staying well is best done in steps. CafeWell, a social network to get well and stay well, helps its members achieve their goals in a way that will enable them to keep up with their new healthy ways.

CafeWell partners with many of the top health plans to encourage their members to take full advantage of all of the wellness programs provided and to achieve a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. One such program is Reach for the Peaks, a wireless pedometer program, which encourages members in activity by providing acknowledgements and even prizes. CafeWell also provides free advice, tips and motivation from Olympic athletes, health and wellness experts and diet and nutrition experts who know more than a few things about getting fit and staying fit.

By doing all of this, CafeWell improves members' perceptions of their health plan and also provides members with a fun, safe and anonymous environment to improve their health today and for years to come. A program like this seems great for anyone who needs extra support and motivation to keep up their healthy lifestyle changes and the added competition factor makes it all the more fun.

This testimonial from a CafeWell member sums it all up:

"I never thought that I was competitive before. Now I am counting steps and enjoying seeing them add up. My husband was actually teasing me a little and telling me that I was competitive after all... It has been fun to encourage eachother to get more steps in each day. It is also fun to see the medals add up. I don't know whose idea it was to get this program started, but it was a great one. I sure hope everyone else is enjoying this health competition to get healthy."
