Walgreens Stepping Up To Help

Having a family, I know how important it is to have access to good healthcare and one important component of that is prescription coverage. Recently Walgreens and Express Script were in negotiations to continue their contract with each other but were not able to come to an agreement, even after Walgreens stated they would not raise rates for the coming year.

Walgreens would like to ease the burden of those who find themselves affected by this recent change and is offering a discounted annual membership to their Walgreens Prescription Savings Club; $5 for an individual and $10 for a family. Members receive discounted prices on their prescriptions as well as savings on medications, discounts on flu shots and pet prescriptions and bonuses when they buy Walgreens brand products and photo finishing services.
