We go through a lot of cereal in this house, particularly Rice Krispies and Cheerios. I used to just throw the box in the recycle bin but then I had an idea- why not use it for arts and crafts time just like I do with empty toilet paper rolls?
A few cuts later and now my kids have some cardboard to color, glue, paint and whatever else they can come up with. Isn't it funny how cereal boxes and toilet paper tubes can bring out such creativity in kids?
