Shaws- Sick and Tired Edition

Last night I did my shopping for my daughter's birthday party on Sunday because today I work from 8 am to 6 pm and have to bake and decorate the cake when I get home tonight.

I felt sick and way run down and you can tell from my lack of deals that I just wanted to get home. That is also why there is no picture- it took all I had just to put the darn food away.

I am going back to the store on Monday because I was overcharged for a few things*. The ground beef was marked on the label as $2.99/lb but rang up as $3.79/lb and the Dole peaches rang up as $3.29 instead of what the shelf tag said which was $2.50. That is a total of $5.11 that Shaws owes me. I should have gone over my receipt when I was at the store but I literally felt like I was going to pass out and wanted to get home as soon as possible. Grrrrrr to me and super Grrrrrrrrrrr to Shaws for their crap not ringing up correctly.

The good news is that I budgeted $125 this week for groceries because of the party and I am $11 under budget (I don't count the books or napkins towards my grocery budget). If I get my $5 back then I'll be $16 under budget. Yeah!!!

* I should say that I may go back- as I sit here and think about driving to the store with my two darling children for $5 I start to think that it may not be worth my gas, time or sanity. We shall see...
