I have not been doing too great at having really low grocery totals lately but you know what- oh well. I am happy because I got my self some Milano Cookies which I love, my husband is happy because I got him mozzarella sticks and the PF Chang Skillet Meal and my kids are happy because they have their beloved yogurt.

I could have saved money by making my own waffles but unfortunately I still have not perfected my waffle making and my kids don't like the shape of the big square waffles that my waffle maker produces. The pancake mix was so cheap I couldn't resist- I like to make my own from scratch for our Sunday morning breakfasts but it will be nice to have some "just add water" stuff on hand for when I don't feel like cooking (the kids get healthy whole wheat pancakes during the week). And that darn $3 orange juice- I promised my son I would buy some and I couldn't just not get it. I suppose I could have bought store brand for .75 cheaper but store brand orange juice scares me for some reason. I also have never bought store brand cereal- I think it is because no matter how poor we were when I was growing up my mom would never buy store brand cereal. She didn't like the way it tasted and now I have a strong bias against it too. Hence the $2.50 box of Cheerios (my kids live on Cheerios).

Maybe next week I won't spend as much... but I doubt it.
