My receipt says that I saved $59.92 which on it's face looks great but I would have never bought most of this stuff at retail price- I mean, $5 for a package of string cheese is just crazy!

I though that the Danimals was on sale this week so I promised my son I would buy one for him. It turns out that I am losing my mind and they were full price but I bought one anyways because I promised.

I am really excited about the frozen strawberries and cauliflower. The strawberries ended up being cheaper then buying fresh strawberries (frozen 20 oz. for $2.69, fresh 16 oz. for $2.99) and way cheaper than buying organic fresh strawberries (not that I would even buy organic fresh strawberries). The cauliflower is great because it is a prepped and washed so I can easily use it to sneak veggies into my kid's food- especially mashed potatoes.

The chicken nuggets are for those times when I just have no time to think about what to make for lunch- we don't eat them every day or even every week. I think that it is good to have something easy to fall back on to keep your sanity. The mozzarella sticks were requested by my husband- he was lucky that they were on sale and that I had a coupon.

I also got a milk point and now have enough (6) to get a free gallon of milk! I love this promotion but am sad because the last day to earn points is 9/16- I really hope they will consider doing this again. II have been buying all of my milk at Shaws but if they decide to stop it I will go back to getting my milk at Cumberland Farms for .10 cheaper.
