I was going to buy $4.99/lb lobster for dinner but they were all out by the time we went shopping. My 3 year old son was with me and was crying because he was really looking forward to buying one. We had to settle for haddock. Maybe it was for the better because my son may have been traumatized when his new pet was put into a huge pot of boiling water.

I usually never buy frozen french fries because I make homemade fries but I knew that by the time I got home from the store there wouldn't be enough time to prepare and cook homemade fries. I guess it is okay to have frozen fries as a back up once in awhile but knowing me they will be gone by the end of the week (when I have an easy way out I take it).

The Barber Chicken Singles are for lunch when I work on Saturdays. My mom used to buy these things all of the time when I was growing up  and you know what they say- you can take the girl out of trailer park but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl (we didn't really grow up in a trailer park- we just ate like we did sometimes). They are good and they were free so mommy has lunch for the next five weeks (or at least until the new microwave at work turns into a bio hazard because of the slobs who work during the week).

As for the gallon of milk- I somehow neglected to see that we had one and a half gallons in the fridge already. No biggie because we go through two to three gallons of milk a week but I really need to take a minute before I go to the store to see what we have on hand. I have four milk points now and only need two more before I get a free gallon on milk. Yeah!
