$35 CSN Stores Gift Certificate Giveaway ***Now Closed***

It's that time again folks- CSN Stores has contacted me to host another great giveaway!

In case you haven't heard of CSN Stores before they are an online retailer who sells everything from office furniture to cookware (love my Le Creuset I ordered from them). They have really good prices, super fast shipping and their customer service is wonderful (I made a mistake on an order not too long ago and the customer service agent was beyond nice and fixed the issue lickety split).

Thanks to CSN Stores' generosity I am giving away a $35 gift certificate to one of my readers. The code can be used on any of their 200 plus sites but cannot be used towards shipping (they do have a huge assortment of items that qualify for free shipping though).

To enter, just leave a comment on this post.
For an additional entry either become a follower of my blog or let me know that you are already a follower.
For another additional entry like me on Facebook (link is on my side bar) or let me know that you already like me.

Giveaway ends on February 15th.

Good luck!

Table for Three...

We recently bought a pub style table for my kitchen that came with two chairs. We eat breakfast and lunch in the kitchen and then for dinner we eat in the dining room as a family. This arrangement works out great during the week when my husband is working but on the weekend when there are two adults and a toddler (she sits in one of those portable seats that attaches to a regular chair) who need chairs to sit in when in the kitchen (my preschooler son has his own little table that he sits at) either my husband or I end up standing up to eat breakfast/lunch.

We could just buy another chair but unfortunately we bought our set at the clearance center at a local furniture store so finding the same chair again is very unlikely. My husband and I decided that buying a bar stool would be perfect- it would be the same height as the chairs we already have and it would match in a non-matchy way. I feel like if we bought the same style of chair we have now but not the same exact one it would look tacky- like we just collected random furniture that we found on the side of the road on trash day.

Knowing that CSN Stores sells tons of furniture, including adjustable bar stools, I decided to take a look at what they had to offer. I never realized that there were so my options for bar stools- now I just have to decide what kind would look best in my kitchen. Wish me luck.

Upcoming Giveaway...

I never travel (unless you count driving to visit my parents 20 minutes away) so my husband and I don't own a real suitcase. We are planning on going somewhere someday though, most likely somewhere that has people dressed up as huge cartoon characters, and the bag I have pictures above is what I see us packing our stuff in- functional, versatile and not stuffy looking.

But I digress... I just want to let you know that I am going to be hosting a giveaway soon from one of my favorite online retailers, CSN Stores. So keep a look out and make sure you enter (unless you are too busy because you are traveling somewhere that doesn't serve corn dogs)!

Perfect Cookware!

Pros: Distributes Heat Evenly, Easy To Clean, Durable, Retains Heat
Cons: Handle Gets Hot
Best Uses: Elaborate Meals, Large Kitchens, Small Kitchens, Simple Meals
Describe Yourself: Casual Cook
This dish is great- it cleans up so easily. I own many other Le Creuset dishes and I still can't believe how easily baked on food comes off with just dish rag and soap. I have never has to soak these dishes- amazing! We have replaced all of our Pyrex dishes with this line!

Very Accurate

5out of 5
Pros: Durable, Easy To Clean, Handle Stays Cool
Best Uses: Elaborate Meals, Simple Meals
Describe Yourself: Casual Cook
I love this thermometer because you cna leave it in the food while it is cooking. This means that you don't have to keep opening the oven to check and see what temperature your food is at- your food cooks quicker because the heat doen't get let out of the oven door and your food is cooked to teh perfect (and safe) temperature. It is very easy to clean and can even be put into the dishwasher.

Window Shopping

I love to "window shop" but not in the way most people do. Instead of looking in store windows and drooling over things I want I do me some internet surfing and drool over my computer screen. Gone are the days when I could leisurely go to the mall and walk around- now with two small children I only go to the stores where I need to go which means no more browsing.

So, back to the internet. When I need (want) something I do 99% of my research and purchasing online (except for groceries, paper goods and toiletries). I have go-to sites for everything that I buy and I always know that I am getting the best price because it is so easy to comparison shop (and look for online coupons).

Whether I am looking for a drop leaf table or some new cookware, the first site I always check is CSN Stores. They have a huge selection of everything under the sun that I may need for my home and their prices are very competitive. Because I like to online window shop so much I tend to get sucked into their site, going through pages and pages of things I may need (and things I really don't need but want and sometimes buy just because...). At least I get great deals on what I do buy though!

Winner CSN Stores Giveaway!

The winner of the $35 CSN Stores Gift Certificate giveaway is Tabathia (comment #58). Congratulations Tabathia and thank you to everyone for entering!

CSN Stores graciously provided me with a gift certificate for my personal use as well as long as I would write a little review about my experience using it (all opinions expressed are mine and are truthful). I bought this Le Creuset 12 by 9 1/2 inch baking dish on Friday night and it was delivered to me on Tuesday. Shipping was free which is awesome but fast shipping makes it super awesome.

I really like CSN Stores but my one complaint is that I wish there were a way to search for products that have free shipping- I hate paying for shipping and avoid it like the plague when possible. Other than that they are a great site and are now up there with Amazon as a place that I look to compare prices for housewares.

Oh yeah- the dish is marvelous! I love Le Creuset and as I (slowly) build up my collection (can you call three pieces a collection?) I am getting rid of my Pyrex dishes. Le Creuset is way more expensive than Pyrex but it will last forever and baked on food just wipes right off. Every time I wash one of these dishes I talk my poor husband's ear off about how I can't believe how easy it is to clean them and where have they been all of my life. After reading what I just wrote I really do feel like a housewife (not that there is anything wrong with that...).

CSN Stores Giveaway! ***Now Closed- Thanks For Entering***

Every time I go to CSN Stores I find stuff that I really want and occasionally I fall in love with things. See this crib set- it is modern bedding for a baby and if my daughter were a little younger I would snatch it up in a second.

I also recently fell in love with the Le Creuset baking dishes that I got from CSN Stores- they are great products that were a great price and shipped lightening fast to my door.

I am happy to announce that I am giving away a $35 CSN Stores gift certificate that can be used on any of their 200 Plus sites (does not cover shipping charges).

The giveaway will end on Wednesday, September 22nd.

To enter just leave a comment saying hi or letting me know what your favorite CSN Stores product is.

Online Shopping Is My Friend

My son is almost 3 1/2 years old and has suddenly decided that he no longer likes his Lightening McQueen bed set that his grandparents got him for Christmas last year. He was obsessed with the movie Cars and now has no interest in it. This means that we are in the market for some more "grown up" and modern bedding. I have learned from this incident that buying kids character bedding is a big no no unless you feel like switching it out every six months so this time my son will be getting something more generic but still cool looking, like the set pictured above which is from one of CSN Stores 200 plus sites.

If you have been reading my blog for a bit you know that I love to shop online. It's not that I hate leaving my house, I hate leaving my house lugging two grumpy kids. I try to buy everything I can online as long as I can get a great deal on it. This is why I am excited that I will be doing another CSN Stores review- their site has some pretty great deals and shopping there for stuff I need means one less trip to the store with grumpy kids.

Stay tuned!
