I bought Cheerios. I at one time banned them from my home because they contained GMO ingredients but recently General Mills announced that they have sourced non-GMO  sugar and cornstarch. I think it is important to let General Mills know that going GMO is a good thing so I have no issue buying their products that are GMO free. Plus, I got a really great deal today!

Total spent: $118.78

I spent way more than I was planning but when I was in the stores I realized that we needed more things than were on my lists. I don't feel like I bought anything extravagant but I am still feeling bad that I didn't stick to my plan. I have one more store to go to on Tuesday- it is a local grocery store and they are having a 2 day sale. I am planning on picking up some schrod for $3.99/lb, cherry tomatoes for .99, celery for $1.49, bananas for .39/lb, kiwi for .50 and cucumbers for .75. I will obviously be over my $125 max budget but maybe I will do better next week : )
