Whole Foods Trip- Hello Mrs. No Will Power...

I spent way more than I meant to today. I just have such a hard time not buying food, especially healthy food. Looking at this picture I guess I could have not bought the chocolate syrup (treat for kids), tortilla chips (snack for me- the only thing I have for myself in the pantry), graham crackers (snack for kids), onion rings (omg- these are so good) and insanely expensive strawberries (we haven't had strawberries in soooo long) which would have saved me about $20 but they all seemed like good things when I was actually in the store. And see, even though I know we could have gone without these things I still feel like buying them was no big deal even though I need to start cutting back my spending.

Anyways, onto what I bought!

3 Organic Kiwi @ .69 each
Organic Romaine Lettuce $2.99
1.02 lb Organic Zucchini $3.05
.43 lb Organic Kale $1.29 (for making kale chips!)
3.29 lb Organic Pears $6.55 ($1.99/lb)
1 lb Organic Strawberries $5.99 (rare treat considering they are out of season)
1.78 lb Organic Red Grapes $6.21
1.15 lb Organic Bananas $1.14
5 lb Bag Organic Russet Potatoes $4.29 (cheaper than I was expecting- yeah!)
1.28 lb Organic Onions $1.91
.59 lb Vine Tomatoes $2.35
365 Organic Laundry Detergent $16.99 (this is 200 HE loads- what a great price!)
365 Organic Whole Milk $5.99
365 Canola Oil $3.99 (gmo free)
365 Organic Ketchup $1.99
365 Organic Unsweetened Applesauce $2.49
Ah-Laska Organic Chocolate Syrup $5.99
365 Organic Graham Crackers $3.99
365 Organic Tomato Sauce $1.49
365 Organic Morning O's Cereal $3.99
365 Organic All Purpose Flour $4.99
.48 lb Peanuts $2.11 (from the bulk bins)
365 Organic Salsa $2.99
365 Multigrain Tortilla Chips $2.99 (gmo free)
Vans Whole Wheat Waffles $2.69 - $2 MC (printed this awhile ago)
365 Frozen Broccoli $1.49
365 Organic Shredded Cheese $7.99
(2) 365 Organic Tortillas @ $2.19 each
365 Frozen Onion Rings $2.49
(2) 365 Frozen Corn @ $2.49 each
2 Nature Fed GMO Free Eggs @ $3.99 each
Bulkie Rolls $3.59

Total: $132.92

The total isn't earth shattering but I did go to a local store on Friday to pick up some things and I spent about $75. The moral of the story is that I need to only go shopping once a week- I really need to do a good job making my list so that I don't run out of things mid week, like fruit because my kids go through it like crazy.
