Down With Books...

I joined the dark side...

I am now the proud owner of a Kindle Touch. I once said that I would never use an e-reader because I enjoyed reading real books- I liked holding them and turning the paper pages. Then we got my son a Kindle Fire for Christmas and after reading books to him on it I decided that having one myself wouldn't be so bad. I like to read big books and lugging those big books around the house with me while I find a place to plop my ass down to nurse the baby is not easy, especially when holding said baby and my Boppy pillow.

My birthday was yesterday (I turned 29 which means next year I will be 30- ugh) and my lovely husband took the hint of me saying I wanted a Kindle and bought me one. I bought myself the book Washington: A Life by Ron Chernow and can't wait to start reading it in my "spare" time.

Yeah for old farts like me embracing new technology!
