Stop and Shop

Transaction #1

2 Starbucks Frappuccino @ $4.00 each - (2) $1.00 mc
Entemann Fudge Cake $2.99 (my husband loves these cakes and I love him)
5 Spikes Salsa @ $1.00 each
4 Ears Corn .66
2 Bushs Baked Beans @ $1.00 each

Total: $16.65

Transaction #2

2 Starbucks Frappuccino @ $4.00 each - (2) $1.00 mc

Total: $6.00

I had to do two separate transactions because the 2/$8.00 Starbucks was one per transaction. This was an awesome deal because I normally get a 12 pack at BJs for $13.99 so even if I use a $1.00 coupon I pay the equivalent of $4.33 a 4 pack whereas today I paid $3.00 a 12 pack. Yeah!

The salsa was $1.00 which is very cheap so I stocked up to make salsa chicken in the crock pot. It is a great recipe for days when you don't want to cook. Just throw some frozen (or fresh) chicken breasts and some salsa in a crock pot and cook. My husband loves this recipe (if you want to even call it that) and he is so picky (I mean really annoyingly picky). We have it with brown rice, tortillas and whatever veggies I have on hand in the freezer. Cheap, good and healthy.
