The chickens came to an average of .66/lb after the meat markdown coupons which is an awesome deal and I would have gotten more but I was already way over budget that I had to pass. The expiration date on the chickens was tomorrow so I put them in the chest freezer when I got home right beside the butt load of chicken breast I got last week.

I am way over budget this week- when I say way over I mean way over. I feel bad and I feel like a bit of a frugal failure but what can I do? I'll just have to buy less next week. I partially blame my budget blowing on the fact that my mouth still hurts from getting two of my wisdom teeth pulled and I am still taking some pain medication. I just haven't felt like thinking too much the past few days and this is the outcome. At least I got things that we needed and not a bunch of junk food.
