I received an anonymous comment today that I thought was funny.
"You may be saving money on ice cream but it's not a healthy food to eat so in the long run you're saving money to be unhealthy!!!"
Here is my issue: my husband and I eat pretty healthy and my kids eat very healthy but we do like to have a treat. I suppose I could tell my husband that after he gets home from a hard day's work and the kids are in bed that he can have a big old bowl of wheat germ with some ground flax seed on top. Yummy.
Did I also mention that this ice cream will last us for months and months and months?
Everything in moderation is my motto (except for wheat germ- yuck!).
